There's no doubt that the Northern Hausa fulanis like power and will continue dominate with the help of some few selfish southerners, the problem is that when fools, incompetent, unexposed, uneducated hijacked power either through military coup or election rigging, everybody suffers. Nigeria is rated the poorest, the most unsafe and the most corrupt in the world, because the above mentioned hijacked power in Nigeria for decades and don't know what to do with it. Give educated Igbo man like Nnamdi Kanu, Kingsley Moghalu or Yoruba man like Sowore, Nigeria will be like Dubai in ten to fifteen years.
